Volunteers are needed for all of our current and future programs. With the ambitious set of goals we advanced in 2010, we are working to focus our volunteer efforts in several key program areas - Community, Youth Programs (including Camp Dos Cabezas), Media Arts and Traditional Arts. The main focus is the set of five goals stated in this Vision for Houston website, "Houston Institute for Culture - Plan 2010-2020". This primarily includes Houston Museum of Culture, Digital Story Resource Center, Youth Development Programs and Camp Dos Cabezas.
Because the future goals in several areas are critical and somewhat complicated, we are planning series of strategy meetings and retreats to focus on long-term implementation. Be sure to provide your contact information in the form below to be notified of upcoming volunteer opportunities and social activities.
